What can I do to avoid problems during migration?
From the migrations that have already been carried out, some tips can be derived in order to carry them out as smoothly as possible.
- If possible, the access points should be operated as gateways to ensure a stable and fast connection.
- Make sure that the MAC addresses are enabled. If they are not whitelisted please get in touch with us providing model and MAC adress.
- Choose the right migration method.
- Migrate a small, non-critical network first to get familiar with Plasma Cloud
- Allow sufficient time as the migration can take up to several hours.
- Make sure you have API v2 / the new User Management System enabled in Cloudtrax since its needed for migration. Please refer to Datto Knowledgebase for instructions on how to migrate.
